COVID-19: What Your Dental Team Is Doing to Keep You Healthy

Dear Patients of Lockney Dental,

After serious deliberation and input from the ADA and the State Dental Board, we will be postponing elective dental procedures for at least 2 weeks. These types of procedures include, but are not limited to, cleanings, exams, x-rays and various other procedures.

We will be seeing patients for emergencies only, such as severe pain, swelling and infection. If you are currently scheduled for an appointment, please call the office to confirm that it has not been canceled/postponed.

Patients will be screened with questions regarding their current health and recent travel history. Anyone who has had a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath (symptoms of Coronavirus) will not be seen until these symptoms resolve. Anyone who has traveled recently will be subject to further screening as well. All of this is part of our effort to alleviate emergency rooms/hospitals visits for dental problems and contain the coronavirus.

Conditions and regulations are quickly changing so please continue to look for our updates and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns at 704-788-4144, as we will be available by phone during normal business hours. We appreciate your help with these efforts and will continue to update you with any new information.

Sincerely,
Drs. Lockney and Staff
