Lockney Dental is proud to be the home of a well-trained staff full of energy and compassion. From our office staff to our dental hygienists, our team members are carefully chosen for their capabilities and experience, and their commitment to quality care.
Angie - Office Manager
Angie has been in the field of dentistry for more than 20 years and joined us as the marvelous manager of our practice! She always welcomes the challenges that insurance companies offer and works with them to make way for our patients’ dream smile. There is no insurance challenge she won’t attempt to handle!
In her free time, Angie enjoys hiking, camping and beaching with her family. She is always ready for her next travel adventure.
Dana - Receptionist
Dana is our smiling face at the front desk and her vibrant personality is your first point of contact. She will greet you with a friendly “hello” and help you in any way possible to feel at ease in our office. With 4 years of experience in her field, she is knowledgeable and accommodating to your dental needs.
Outside of the office, she spends as much time as possible with her family at the lake, the beach or just riding around in her jeep with the top off!
Holly - Dental Assistant
Holly's passion is to help people through her work every day. She loves getting to know her patients and build lifelong relationships with them. As mother to a son, daughter and two dogs, she spends her time outside the office with her family and friends.
During her free time she loves to spend time at the beach and ride horses.
Dean - Dental Assistant
Dean is the happiest when she can help anxious patients overcome their fear of visiting the dentist.Dean has been providing chair side assistance to Dr. Lockney for over 12 yrs. She and her husband, Rob, have been married for 30 years and have two adult sons and a daughter-in-law. They also keep busy with their Golden Retriever and Yorkie.
When Dean isn't in the office, she loves to spend her time antiquing and completing DIY projects.
Tonya - Dental Assistant
Tonya is the newest team member with Lockney Dental; however, she is not new to dentistry and has enjoyed making patients smile for over 30 years! Her favorite part of dental assisting is interacting with patients and making them feel right at home. Tonya has two daughters and has been happily married, to her husband, for 27 years.
In her spare time, Tonya enjoys spending time with family and friends, and going on beach trips.
Madelyn - Hygienist
Madelyn graduated from GTCC with an associate degree in dental hygiene in 2017. Since then she has worked at Lockney Dental, where she enjoys making personal and professional relationships with her patients. She has a passion for educating patients on their dental health and helping them to achieve their dental goals. Her favorite part of her job is calming patients' fears and making them feel at home while in the dental chair.
When not in the office, Madelyn enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and their 3 dogs. She loves to do puzzle books and watch FRIENDS.
Wendy - Hygienist
Wendy is a North Carolina native and has lived in the Cabarrus County area since 2004. She resides with her husband and their three dogs. Wendy graduated with her dental hygiene degree in 2016 and has been at Lockney Dental since 2019. She is a self-proclaimed animal lover! To add, she also loves coffee, collecting fun coffee mugs, acquiring colorful socks and getting all kinds of blankets!
Abigail - Dental Assistant
Abigail loves the dental world and getting to meet people and build relationships with her patients. She enjoys making them feel comfortable and helping them to show their smiles again. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her 2 boys and her family, in addition to exploring new places with her husband and shopping with her mother.
